MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06
 
      Title: Sourdough Pancakes
 Categories: Breads
      Yield: 4 servings
 
      1 c  A-P flour
      2 tb Sugar
      2 ts Baking powder
    1/2 ts Baking soda
    1/4 ts Salt
      1 c  Sourdough discard
      1 lg Egg; room temp
      1 c  Milk
      2 tb Butter; melted
           Syrup
 
  In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking
  powder, baking soda and salt. In another large bowl,
  whisk together sourdough discard, milk, egg and melted
  butter until combined. Add wet ingredients to dry
  ingredients; stir together until just incorporated. Let
  sit 15 minutes.
  
  Preheat griddle over medium heat. Lightly grease
  griddle. Pour batter by 1/4 cupfuls onto griddle; cook
  until bubbles on top begin to pop and bottoms are golden
  brown. Turn; cook until second side is golden brown.
  Serve with syrup, if desired.
