Subj : 9/18 Cheeseburger Day - 3 To : All From : Dave Drum Date : Wed Sep 17 2025 05:00:37 MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: One-Pot Bacon Cheeseburger Pasta Categories: Beef, Pork, Cheese, Vegetables, Pasta Yield: 12 servings 8 sl Bacon; chopped 2 lb Ground beef 1/2 lg Red onion; chopped 12 oz Uncooked spiral pasta 4 c Chicken broth 30 oz (2 cans) crushed tomatoes 8 oz Can tomato sauce 1 c Water 1/4 c Ketchup 3 tb Prepared mustard 2 tb Worcestershire sauce 1/4 ts Salt 1/4 ts Pepper 2 c Shredded Cheddar cheese; - divided 1/3 c Chopped dill pickle MMMMM-----------------------TOPPINGS (OPT---------------------------- Chopped tomatoes Shredded lettuce Sliced pickles Sliced red onion In a 6 quart stockpot, cook bacon over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until crisp, 6-8 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon; drain on paper towels. Reserve drippings for other uses. In the same pot, cook ground beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink, 6-8 minutes; crumble meat; drain. Add the next 10 ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, covered, until pasta is al dente, stirring occasionally, about 10 minutes. Stir in 1 cup cheese, pickle and bacon; cook and stir until cheese is melted. Serve with remaining cheese and, if desired, tomatoes, lettuce, pickles and red onions. UDD NOTE: You can put this into a 13" X 9" casserole and put more cheese over the top. Pop into a 350§F/175§C oven just until the cheese is melted. Warm leftovers (if any) in your oven.
