Yep, I think the subject line on this message is 53 characters. There's nothing wrong with that I can see.

Guilty! I rarely change the subject line when replying, the idea doesn't even cross my mind.

Yep, a good subject line is handy. I often scan the messages based on the subject line when I am in a hurry, as seems to be the case the last little while.
