  I wasn't that lucky. Since I had "the dirtiest job in the place", no
one wanted to do the work. I'm sure they about had a heart attack, when
I walked in, and said I had to resign, due to declining health. It has
gotten worse over the last 15 years...including a diagnosis of
degenerative disk disease in my spinal column a year and a half ago.

  The original owner, when I told him, said "I guess I'll have to fire
you". He later apologized, as he was "joking", but I thought he was
serious. But, had they fired me, and I had written proof of it, I think
I would've just taken that to the court, then law enforcement would've
showed up with arrest warrants and handcuffs, for "contempt of court".

  Even though I lost big time, pay wise, when I served, it meant a few
hours where I didn't have to deal with the boss.
