Yes.  Full name would have shown up in the echos as "Vija Abolins".

I didn't realize that it "moved to the web".  It still seems to be a fairly 
active fidonet echo from what I can tell.

Yes.. 2005 sounds about right.  My fidonet journey ended in 2006, after my main 
pc crashed. All the echomail history is probably unrecoverable.  I still have 
the original harddrive (but it is OS/2 format)  Before the pc crashed, the 
harddrive was already making a lot of clicking noises.
