Add hospice to that list... hospice at home is now an acceptable
alternative.... as I mentioned a couple of messages ago... My dad died
in the hospital, but it was an unexpected result of having had a feeding
tube put in... Mommy was with him, and called me and then the rest of
the family in the area... we had a bit of a wake right there in the
hospital room as we gathered there....  And as I said, we made an effort
to make it more everyday and "normal" when it was Mommy's time to go....
