He died as well, remember? :) Ah, but his was just temporary.... If you don't count him, then there's only the two.... > he'd been checked at midnight... at 2, for the next check, he was > gone JM> That's the way I wanna go. Quick. That was good of him... :) JM> I was involved in my mothers services. JM> My brother is not religious and knew no clergy. JM> It was done "by the book", literally, so nothing special was needed. JM> She always said she didn't want anything special anyway. My parents and family have always been lovers of the hymns of the church... we sang quite a few at Daddy's services, and after he was gone, Mommy started a list of hymns that she wanted to be sung at her services (burial and memorial)... When she died, she had a list of a dozen... That last night when I sat vigil with her, I worked over that list to decide which to use when... we sang 5 of them at the burial service a few days later (since the burial was held so far in advance of the formal service, we had a more involved service graveside than usual), and then the other 7 at her memorial service the following month... :) I worked out scriptures to go with them, and gave the whole thing to our pastor when he came to visit later in the day... :) Other than that, it was also done by the book... :) ttyl neb .... !Caution!
