  One of the banks I'm in quite often has Norman Rockwell wall calendars,
which I hang in the kitchen.  Other than when I turn a page I don't pay
attention to it.

  We had a fill in organist at church I referred to as "Clinker".  He would
hit a sour note sometime during the hymn.  I used to wonder when he started
playing how long until he hit it.

  Several years ago I sent a small donation to a national charity after
some disaster or other.  They keep sending me "reminders" to give them more. 
They have spent several times over what I gave them in paper and postage.
