retired.... ;)

(And here I thought Doc had fixed that bug...)  'He had scheduled me for
that d'ay as well...?   Sounds to me as though you weren't the only
assuming that time... the captain seems to have assumed that you knew
that he wanted you for the whole weekend.... ;)

Apparently, their parents never enforced that concept with them... And
