  The first computer for The Thunderbolt BBS was a 32nd birthday
present. Arkansas Children's Hospital was upgrading their computers, and
discarding the old ones. A friend of my brothers (I didn't know him at
the time) got me an 8088 XT, with 640K of RAM, a 20 Megabyte Hard Drive,
a 3.5" and a 5.25" floppy drive, a keyboard, a mouse, DOS 3.2, and a
monochrome green monitor (with screen burn), for free.
