I was Borax Man, but I'm using my actual name now that I've been informed that it is a requirement. I am somewhat new here. Although I did use BBS's in the mid 90s, I never used this service for reasons I can't remember. My theory is that the 'sterile look' is due to a desire to keep things as clean looking as possible, and perhaps it is due to advertising which preferred such settings to showcase products. I prefer texture and detail to break things up and remove solid blocks of monochrome from the field of vision. And if that means things are a little harder to clean, its is a price well worth paying. ....
