  No matter how many times that skit was done Jack would break up.  And Mel
remained stone faced.  :)
  I knew a guy, long gone, who was a double for Blanc.  Could've been
brothers.
  He was long time photographer on the local rag.  He started as a Army
photographer in North Africa and with the Army up through Italy and to the
camps in Germany.  
  He said all the death and carnage he had seen up to that point was
nothing compared to the camps the Army liberated.
