  But often its a case of CYA for the insurance companies.

   Friend of mine had the same insurance company for years, full coverage,
always paid before it was due, never filed a claim, etc.
   One day his car was stolen.
   The insurance dropped him before the ink was dry on the paperwork for
being a bad risk.  ==sigh==
