   Those cartoons could be enjoyed by everyone, kids and adults.
   I always liked Rocky and Bullwinkle over the Road Runner.
   A fellow class mate, back in the day, (late '50s/early '60s) was really
popular since his parents had a colour tv and kids would go his place to
watch the after school cartoon shows on it.  :)
