Becoming a democracy is often a messy business. Not just for post war Germany (both times), but also after the Soviet Union and the Iron Curtain fell in many countries. Instead of being told what to do/think, people were allowed to do/think on their own and there are also those looking to make a fast buck, mark, ruble or Euro, regardless of who is hurt. Sometimes people don't make good choices. > And yes, it wasn't nice, but this really was a bad war and we lost it - > and there is a price to pay for that. There was historical tension between Germany, England and France going back many, many years. Its like a bully beating a guy to a pulp, taking what he has and then kicking him while he's down. The guy can do one of several things: either lay there or determine he's not gonna take that again and work out at the gym, build up his muscles, etc for "the next time". > Yep. Many germans saw France as a kind of "sworn enemy"... I have never cared for the Froggies. Except for the days of Napoleon they were all bluster and show, but when push came to shove they turn to jelly. There's an old saying, "For sale. French army rifle. Never fired. Dropped once". >> JM> If I'm not mistaken, that's were Nero (who makes a burning program) is located. > > I've just looked it up: Yes, that's right :) > I wasn't aware of that :) I've using Nero for many years and to me the ONLY burning program to use. :) Joe --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5 * Origin: Fido Since 1991 | QWK by Web | BBS.FIDOSYSOP.ORG (1:123/140) .
