I am often able to follow a program with just the sound. I can imagine the character driving somewhere, for example, without watching him drive somewhere. That was developed listening to OTR. Sometimes programs are just radio with pictures. :) Now watching a detective/mystery show video is important when revealing a unspoken clue for example.
