If the file contains PETSCII, it should be named .seq (not .msg). The thing that is triggering the display of banner* is the MENU @-code in answer.msg. You could use a separate answer.seq file or answer.40col.msg file which refers to a specific banner (don't use a wildcard) or just include whatever special text you want in that answer file. You don't *have* to use a nested banner file.
