Yeah, it's still based on Gnome 3, not sure if it was 21.10 or if it'll 
be 22.04 that updates to Gnome 40 (I didn't pick the numbering).

Been using Ubuntu-Budgie for several months now, really like it a lot, 
using GTK and some gnome tooling, but more customizable out of the box 
experience.  Have mine configured with bits like windows, other bits 
like osx and other things altogether different.
