Thanks for the info.  I did change it to make prettier listings, but it 
hasn't helped.  

I've got all the avatar stuff working locally, and I have a nice database of 
foriegn avatars that I can display... I've written a little tool to import 
..bin files, but i can't get avatars I send to dove data to show up on, say, 
Vert.

Weird. I might have to set up a test Synchronet system so I can futz with it.
