Subj : BinkIT case sensitive To : digital man From : CJ Date : Wed Dec 20 2023 18:50:53 Should BinkIT care about the case of alpha characters when considering FLO/CLO/HLO etc files? I've found a copy of Joe DeRosa's 'Please' utility that creates files for Binkley, but the alpha characters are in upper case. BinkIT refuses to process them as a result. For example: if I run the command 'Please poll 1:218/880', the resulting file that is created is 00DA0370.FLO. When BINKOUT runs, it produces an error message stating: Unexpected file path 'C:sbbs\echo\outbound\00DA0370.FLO expected C:\sbbs\outbound\00da370.FLO' So I manually change the name to 00da370.FLO and run BINKOUT again. This time it returns an error message stating: Unknown flow file flavour 'C:\sbbs\echo\outbound\00da0370.FLO' So I then change it to 00da0370.flo, run BINKOUT again and boom...a successful poll. Should BinkIT care about case? Just curious. Thanks! CJ .... I have a really good memory, except it's short. --- þ Synchronet þ CJ's Place, Orange City, FL - cjsplace.thruhere.net * Origin: Vertrauen - [vert/cvs/bbs].synchro.net (1:103/705) .
