The first question to answer would be: can the JavaScript engine and Crypto (SSH/TLS) engine that Synchronet relies upon be built for OS/2 and I'm pretty sure that answer is no. And getting those ported to OS/2 would be likely much harder than porting Synchronet itself. You could probably build a version of Synchronet without those features (JS, TLS/SSL) on OS/2, but it would take a very motivated C/C++ programmer (and OS/2 lover - AKA, not me) to take on such a task.
