It's a crap shoot since the user didn't leave any > details. I sometimes use ftelnet to access my DOS bbs. Normally, that red bar goes away when you return to the browser window. I can only rememeber one time where it didn't and, as the caller suggests, it disconnected me when I clicked on it. Since it happened to me on a non-Synchronet BBS, I suspect it is something with the ftelnet code and not Synchronet or ecweb.
