Whomever is running the FTP server should fix that: passive FTP is "the way". > So I can get my qwk packets now; but now having difficulty setting up conf. > # > > I tried to take a control.dat file from the qwk packet; and import messages > but when bbs tries to unpack; it says they dont exist. It says *what* dont exist? You need to have the message areas import/setup *first* (in SCFG->Message Areas) and then you need to setup the QWK conference number mapping from the hub in SCFG->Networks->QWK->YOURHUB->Netowrked Sub-boards. You can import a control.dat file in SCFG for *both* of those lists, but you would need to do so for *both*. > If I have a list of the conf # and names, what format should the file be in > and what file format from "import messages" should I use to import conf #. > > Is there another way to setup the conference numbers? control.dat file should work fine. -- digital man (rob) Sling Blade quote #2: Karl (re: killing Doyle): I hit him two good whacks in the head with it.
