webv4/lib/forum.js contains this line:

        if (ret) user.posted_message();

And testing with v3.20c, it appears to work:

$ grep Posts /sbbs/ctrl/dsts.ini
        Posts=670
        Posts=1 <- was incremented from 0 via ecWeb forum post
