I'm wondering if some are connecting to Dovenet via QWK as well as via some sort of newsgate, and sending the message off twice.

However, it doesn't help that this specific newsgate is adding it's own stuff to the original message body, looks like the MSGID changes, "Re: " was stripped from the subject, and the year looks like it was changed in the 'Date' field from 2025 to 1900, making it completely undetectable as a duplicate message.
