Ah, ok. I'm just throwing out guesses/suggestions. You can probably see it better than anyone else, as they all seem to go through you at some point.

I also just saw a message that looks like it may have came directly from alt.bbs.synchronet from that same newsgate, and none of that advertisement stuff was added to the end of the message body. Not sure if text is only appended on forwards, or what the deal is there..
