What all is this going to affect? For example, if I were to continue using the "V" option and all of a sudden they shut it down, is the entire app basically turned into a useless paperweight? As of right now everything still seems to work fine.

Do they have a date where they're going to shut it down?

I don't plan on putting my credit card information on a random website I'll probably never visit again, just for a free API key. So I'm trying to figure out my options, and how much time I have left to do so.
