Thursday night we got enough snow with wind to have me shovelling 30 to 45 cm (12 to 18") of snow for about 75 meters (240 ft) of pathways around here.. and within an hour of me finishing that we got new snow falling and strong enough wind to rattle the windows and make the walls creak, so I suspect all of that work went for nothing.. I still haven't cleared my car off over the last few days. I don't use it frequently and it's parked about 40 meters (130 feet) from the house through snow I'll have to shovel through to get to it as well.. Most of the paths around here are too rough to use a snow blower on so I do it all by hand... or by shovel.. B) Plus no place handy to park a snow blower.. They have the old saying though about March coming in like a lion and going out like a lamb, but February is often similar with the first 2 weeks often being some of the worst of winter but by late in the month we get sun and above freezing temps during the day and, as you said, it's been a Year and it can't come soon enough.. --- * SLMR Rob * Why am I the only normal person here? * Origin: Capitol City Online (954:895/54) .
