I rarely watch shows or movies more than once. Every now and then
I do, and if I start watching something and later realize I saw
it before, if it's not really fresh in my mind I may finish it.

The wallpaper one I did remember when you mentioned it. Not so much
because I remembered that episode, but I did remember hearing about
old wallpaper somewhere..

It's a different enough situation/location that it's pretty easy
to just forget about the original series. I found the same thing
with the American remakes of several other shows like the British
show Robin's Nest which was remade as Three's Company as well as
others like All in the Family (from Till death do us Part) and
Too Close for Comfort (from Keep it in the Family)..

When I was in 'those years' I was generally working so many hours
I didn't have time to chase women so I only ended up with ones who
almost threw themselves at me, which left a lot less opportunity
to mess up those early dates..   B)

I only one time dated a girl I went to school with and I never went
to a school dance. I mainly met ladies at work or through people
I worked with or shared hobbies with.
