I didn't run across the UK version of that. I watched a few episodes
when it started here but, as I said, it's a little silly..
That said there are a lot of new half hour sitcoms the last couple
of years that seem to be far dumber than the average in the past..

The show is interesting enough, basically genius lady with a couple
of kids that gets involved helping the police solve crimes until
she actually becomes part of the team as a job (consultant).

They do it well and the lady (Kaitlin Olson) really likes dressing
to show off her legs and they, and the rest of her, are pretty
nice looking. Hard to believe she is 50, although I think the
part she plays is more like 40, but only because she has a
daughter who is about 17. She could pass for even younger.

Yes, I saw that listed as a remake as well. I've watched a few of
the American version, but never got hooked on it. Another show
that is a bit 'silly'..   B)
