  The May, 2021 issue of The Modern Square, the monthly publication
of the Arkansas State Square Dance Federation (ASSDF), is released
today, April 14, 2021. Because of a threat of thunderstorms the next
few days, and because of an early wake-up call for me, I've decided
to release it now...plus, I was "out of room" for items for the print
edition in the current issue.

  The print edition has been sent to Arkansas Printing, and the
e-Edition is available on the ASSDF website, which is located at
https://www.arkansassquaredance.com -- from there, click on RESOURCES,
and DOWNLOAD THE MODERN SQUARE to get to the page where issues of The
Modern Square are located...just click on the desired link.

  For non-subscribers of the print edition, a PDF file of the back
issue from March, 2021 is available at the appropriate link. This
"delay" prevents non-subscribers from getting the current print
edition in a timely manner...compared to those who are paying $20
per year for it. Those who have a current print subscription should
receive their copy in their mailboxes by April 29, 2021.

Due to various issues, I will NOT be able to make the ASSDF Delegates
Meeting and Dance in Hot Springs on May 1, 2021. I've sent a PDF file
to ASSDF President Ted Hofmeister to discuss in my absence.

  Work on the June, 2021 issue will start around May 10, 2021. I
will need any items for that issue no later than 6pm Central Time
on May 14, 2021, to be included in there. The 6pm Central Time is
because of commitments via another hobby, amateur radio, during the
evening hours. 

  Conversely, payment for any ads must be received by ASSDF Treasurer
Sheila Gesing, or the ads will not run.
