When I was working we had a male customer with the surname of 'Pigg'.
As part of the corporate "make the store friendly!" we were supposed to
use the customer's name -- read from the screen snagged from various
options within the transaction.  "Thank you Mr. -- Pig?", somehow
knowing the two g's meant it probably wasn't pronounced like the animal.


Was corrected to 'pighzz'.  Not sure how to display that sound:
something like the z sound in 'buzz' but with a 'g'.  Close to the
correct pronunciation of the first name of Zsa Zsa Gabor (there's a 
Bobby Darin [?] song where he says 'Zah Zah' - wrong!!).

Back to Mr. Pigg, he went on to state his name was French.
