  True. Letting it touch the ground "defames it" (I guess that's the
word I want), and flying it upside down is "a distress signal".

  I saw a photo on FoxNews where, in the middle of a severe
thunderstorm, with flooding rain and intense lightning, a Marine Honor
Guard at the Tomb Of The Unknown Solder, solemnly placed a flag there.
Those who are part of this group have a very high discipline standard,
