DS> Or somebody mis-heard "boil", and thought it was "broil". :P When I was living at the apartment complex years ago we did have a few broiler and oven fires. One was someone stuck something in the broiler and sat down and dozed off. Not sure of the food caught fire but did start smoking pretty good. Another incident in a different building was similar: food had either caught fire or simply started smoking. The one was more serious as due to the amount of smoke the fire department was called.
