So "I like BM> it - two!" or possible "I like it to !" Good point. BM> And then the poor machine has another complication: external sounds. With the Google Nest Doorbell camera, I can't start saying "OK", as it "wakes up the device". When I do a process with the computer, the deal thinks it's glass breaking. I've been spending way too much time at the computer...and it aggravates the dry corneas (which made me quit driving, and sell my car 6 months ago). I'm mainly on the BBS to update the ham radio and weather data, do the QWK mail, check for hack attempts, and maybe play a few doorgames to keep my mind sharp. BM> All depends. Ease of use (a.k.a. do I understand how to configure and BM> use?) make a lot of difference too. But, so many folks are computer illiterate. As noted before, I can write a batchfile for the BBS, but my programming ends at setting the clock on the microwave oven (then you supplied the JPG of the timepiece on the cooking device ). We've had fog, rain, and storms much of the last week...and have a threat of severe weather here Tuesday and Tuesday night...but it looks like the worst of it will be to my south. Then, it's supposed to turn sharply colder. The models have been all over the place whether or not we'll get rain, storms, snow, ice, or nothing at all before Christmas. If I remember right, your area (Iowa) could get quite a bit of snow before Christmas. However, I doubt it'll be anything like the Lake Erie Lake Effect Snow Machine did last month near Buffalo, New York...where some areas got nearly 7 feet of heavy wet snow!! I had to make an unexpected ambulance run to the Emergency Room on Friday. I had a rapid heartbeat, and with congestive heart failure, I didn't want to take a chance. The EKG was normal, but the cause may have been that I didn't take the blood pressure and other medicines after eating something to relive feeling "peckish" in the morning. Some medications will make you nauseated if you don't take them with food. The hospitals have been extremely busy with all the cases of flu and RSV lately. After getting home from the ER, I did very minor with work with the BBS, and with the storms Friday night through much of Saturday, I slept quite a bit. Daryl .... No Virus Found. AARRGGHH!!
