Overall wheat bread should be better nutritionally and tasting that 
white bread.  "Should" because there's probably some wheat breads which 
are simply a white bread with a sprinkle of wheat re-added, just like
some brown rice is white rice with molasses added for colour.  

Still, I pretty much stay away from white bread.  Actually I don't eat 
bread as in sandwiches much.  Do have a bagel or English Muffin 
sometimes for breakfast, so get my bread that way.
