Hi Folks!

Not really ChitChat but as this is where we are congregating....

Having problems with a wireless camera -- tried both the 2.4 GHz and 5 
GHz bands, moved the antenna numerous times, tried connecting to a 
different AP (access point),  AFAICT the problem is not with the camera 
nor the APs but a 'no radio zone' as have had the problem for decades: 
distant FM stations will fade out in the specific strip, same with TV 
reception (I know: FM is between Channels RF6 and RF7).  Other wireless
devices also have reception issues over the years.

What I am considering is PoE.  Swap out the wireless camera (put it
elsewhere).  I know to use outdoor-rated Ethernet cable; the big thing
is getting the cable from inside to outside.  Drilling a hole has been
vetoed so looks like using the short adapter to go through the window --
slips under the window and frame -- Amazon ASIN B0BZVVDHKL as an
example.  Of course the reviews for this one one review gave 1 star for
not working with PoE and the next review gave 5 stars for PoE.

So anyone have suggestions?  TIA!
