Ky, The second link to AT&T  about Tethering looks like it will help me
understand more about getting my XP desktop using phone data, Thanks 

I looked at their page a bit while still loggeed on to CCO BBS.
 After I log off I will go back to the bookmark I made for it.

Itdoes say something about USB tethering, but the first couple of pages speak
about wifi hotspots ,
Hope I find USB only transfers of my desktop to phone in later pages on that
page .
