I will copy and paste commands from an > instruction guide and if they are indented will work for that command > but not seen in memory. Something I have run into with bash... if I have multiple lxterminal windows open, or sometimes even when I SSH into the machine from another one... not all of my commands are recalled later, either. I can even have grep search .bash_history on a keyword and it won't find them. Very frustrating when I am trying to remember a particularly involved command line that I want to repeat later. :/ Mike --- * BgNet 1.0b12 = RAW: Port 27 / Telnet:26 / ftelnet:80 * Origin: ILink: moe's * moetiki.ddns.net:27 * 1-5028758938 (454:3/106) .
