Something I have run into with bash... if I have multiple lxterminal
windows open, or sometimes even when I SSH into the machine from another
one... not all of my commands are recalled later, either.  I can even have 
grep search .bash_history on a keyword and it won't find them.
 
Very frustrating when I am trying to remember a particularly involved
command line that I want to repeat later.  :/
