Qute possible: I haven't paid close enough attention.  Might also be I'm
doing more multiple open Terminal windows now than back then.

That sometimes doesn't work: I do a lot of remote access work even 
though the remote computer is right next to me.  Reason being is I have 
an old computer desk with a hutch with an opening for a CRT monitor -- a
27" LED monitor will fit.  The second monitor is on the wall to my right
(because the window is on the left!).  Rather than cranking my neck to
the right I'll use Remmina or TigerVNC to remote in and then the two 
workspaces side-by-side, slightly overlapping, etc., whatever works!  

Problem is, sometimes the copy-and-paste function doesn't work from one
workspace to another.  AFAICT configured correctly.  So sometimes I'll 
e-mail myself from one computer to the other -- like a document with 
installation commands.  Thumbdrives also work, just for a while I was 
having problems with them.
