And the whole purpose of the backup has been eradicated.

Properly would have an identified rolling routine.   <shudder> Recallng
the 'tons' of floppies I had for backups.  The 'roll' was in separate
boxes.  More floppies, more storage boxes, more space.

<Cue Pink Floyd's "Another Brick n the Wall"!>  I don't do the 
incrementals of that length -- I think "long ones" are configured for 6 
months and then start a new one.

At first thinking that's not nearly enough space but then looking at 
this computer.  Has a 3 TB drive but I'm only using 694 GB of that for 
actual storage: 27%.  Still, way pver that possible 200 GB limit.
