I don't recall if I used something like that or not.  Closest I can 
think of is with the Super XT because the original used MFM drives and 
the 'Super' used sIDE - had to change the controller cards.

I've not counted but some would probably make TREE sweat!  ...Since I'm 
allowed (by the OS) I more or less create a subdir when it makes sense to
me to find stuff faster.
