Welcome back!  Woke up to an odd and somewhat quiet-yet-noisy dull 
tapping from outside: raining!  So as too dark to see out there it's 
obviously raining somewhat heavily.  According to this morning's 
forecast (Saturday Dec. 28) it is supposed rain pretty much all day.  
Otherwise nice: supposed to get into the mid-50's this afternoon.
