Subj : Note from Daryl Stout To : BARRY MARTIN From : Daryl Stout Date : Tue Jan 21 2020 01:08:00 Barry, BM>Years ago (early 1990's) I had a communications programme I used to dial BM>in to the BBS (before I took over). Worked fine except when I used a BM>specific function - which had worked fine originally. Reloaded (from a BM>floppy!) and all was good until that function was needed again. I used GT Power for my BBS and terminal program. One of my users found an unusual setup at a local flea market. It had a monitor, mouse, keyboard, and a 3.5" and a 5.25" floppy drive, but no hard drive. So, on the A: drive, I made a bootup desk for DOS 5.0 -- then on the B: drive, the batchfile for the GTO (GT Terminal Only) program. With just that, and an external modem, he dialed into my BBS.
