I don't think I have been retaining fluids, though the ginger could have helped to do a bit of system cleansing. Hadn't had tea (ginger or other) for a few days because hot here and I generally don't drink hot beverages in the afternoon when warm/hot. Cooled down, did have a ginger tea, no excessive urination.
