First, I don't have the means to do those modes. I could set up an HF remote link with a fellow member of the Quarter Century Wireless Association, but I have other things besides ham radio, the BBS, and square dancing, that take up my time...health and finances for openers. Second, if someone else wants to prepare a file with the info, and send me the link for it, that's fine. I've noticed many of the nets overlap each other in day and time as it is. I don't like the idea of nets being "Hi, Bye, And QSY" for these hams, who "Net Control...Please Copy [Callsign], [Name], [Location], Short Time, No Traffic"...and not 2 minutes later, they are doing THE SAME THING on another net. It's as if they think there's a prize, bonus, award, certificate, for seeing how many nets one can check into in a day, an evening, or both. To me, those are in the hobby for their ego. It has gotten to be such a mad rush on the nets, that I'm only on the air for nets where I'm primary or backup net control. If I don't feel like checking into the other ones, I don't...and I don't lose any sleep over it. EV> P.S. The ODR Phonetics are "Old Dirty Rat" AKA a big LID.
