I hope you have unplugged them: though 'off' they are on a bit, mainly
monitoring if the remote control gets pressed.  Also take the batteries
out of the remote so won't leak and damage.

Or "The Rule of Self-Preservation".  I kind of go by 'the rule of the
lesser evil': nothing we do is all good: there is always so bad aspect, 
so try to do the best and minimize the worst.

It was the right thinking at the time!  ...Wonder if that statement and 
time attribute is correct? My DEC Rainbow 100 (purchased ~1980 as a 
birthday present to myself) had the option to go up to 896 KB -- stick
those little black Chicklets in the expansion board.
