Yes -- some time back I configured to receive all conferences and so 
could at least scan through messages even though the topic wasn't of 
personal interest.

There has also been the occasional consideration raised to eliminate the
empty/unused conference and combine into a few generic-encompassing.  
I've been of the opinion too much work (by the SysOps) for the result.
