KM> Or being designed by designers, not by engineers. And of course it should be by both and tested by people who almost haven't a clue as to how it is supposed to work. "Let's make a teeny-tiny difference between the top and the bottom length to differentiate which way to insert the plug." Good news on finally being able to get good communications speeds! Let's see, your old DSL was 0.5 Mb/s... So Starlink = 50 Mb/s. As for the port, would think they'd correct the problem. Of course there is going to be a bunch with the problem just because they manufacture tons of them at a time. KM> Actually, their whole router is the suck. Hopefully they didn't put in some sort of "you must use me" code in it! > > KM> know what HDMI does in that boat. Sinking performance?? > > Let that concept wash over me.... KM> DON'T TOUCH TH--- Just about! ...I had a tape drive (remember those?) which didn't work. I think the software detected it but just sat there. Tried different cables. Thinking a power issue (the 4-pin Molex 5 and 12 v connector) so put in a "Y" adapter so I oculd check with my voltmeter. Tape drive worked!! Left the Y connector in! ¯ ® ¯ BarryMartin3@MyMetronet.NET ® ¯ ® ....
