Absolutely. It would be nice if more people posted locally to build a sense of community with my callers, but there's also the wider Fidonet and othernet communities too...but that's almost like facebook - plenty of drama among a geographically diverse population. :)

That said, most people are pretty good around the nets and usually willing to help or engage in conversation.
